I had wanted to be a photographer since I was about 12 years old. I started practicing on my nieces and friends when I was in my early 20s. I shot my first wedding in 2016, which is also the year I got married. Let me tell you a bit more about my wedding experience...

From my engagement session to my wedding day, my experience with my own photographers wasn't great. The poses at the engagement session felt so awkward. There wasn't much direction and, it just wasn't fun. Now onto my wedding day. My photographer didn't seem excited to be spending time with me and my bridesmaids. We had no timeline and photos were so rushed.

I remember being so excited to see my photos and being so disappointed when I went through them all. I don't have a single one of them printed in my house. That feeling is gut wrenching. My wedding day was so beautiful and filled with so much love and laughter, but I have nothing to show from it (well except a husband, but that's besides the point).

The only positive thing that came from that experience is that it has made me such a better photographer. I will never let my clients feel that way.
